August 3 (Monday) saw, Alwarpet Street – the only containment zone in Mylapore reporting a new virus case.
According to Chennai Corporation’s data published on its website, the street has reported a case after almost a week now.
The neighbourhood also reported 9 other streets with virus cases on this day. In total, the number of streets reporting virus cases on August 3 was 10.
While 3 streets reported cases at Ward 123, Ward 122 and Ward 125 had 2 streets each.
And Ward 121, Ward 124 and Ward 126 reported one street each with virus cases.
