Now, you can directly reach Mylapore DCP over WhatsApp video call to get your grievances redressed. Commissioner of Police Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal launched this new facility on Monday. The service begins from today (Tuesday, July 28)
The calls to the DCP can be made between 12 noon to 1 pm on Tuesdays and Fridays.

One can also reach the Commissioner of Police for grievance redressal. To avail the facility, people may first message their grievance at 6369100100 via WhatsApp.
Following this, a video call would be arranged for appropriate matters, rest would be referred to Deputy Commissioner.
The facility of public grievance redressal via WhatsApp video call was first introduced by the Commissioner of Police soon after he took charge a few weeks ago. It was intended for him to directly address people’s concerns.
Now, the facility has been extended to all city Deputy Commissioners as well.
