Since the past few weeks, virus containment zones in the neighbourhood are gradually reducing. According to a recent list put out by Chennai Corporation, Mylapore has a containment zone only at one street – Alwarpet Street (Ward 122) as of July 24.
Containment zones are areas that have at least five index virus cases and 20 positive contacts.
