The number of streets reporting virus cases has gone down on July 4, with only 23 neighbourhood streets reporting cases on this day. This, say civic officials has taken place after a long time.
Of the 23, the maximum cases were reported from Ward 125, where 7 streets reported virus cases.
Five streets reported cases in Ward 124 and 3 each in Ward 126, Ward 122 and Ward 121. And Ward 123 reported 2 streets with virus cases.
Part of Ward 119 that falls in Mylapore did not report any virus cases on this day.
Listed below are the streets that have reported virus cases on July 4.
Ward 121: Chidambaraswamy 1 st Street, Chidambaraswamy 2nd Street, Veeraperumal Street
Ward 122: TTK Lane, Crescent Street, Alwarpet Street
Ward 123: Visalakshi Thottam 1st Main Road, Visalakshi Thottam 1 st Lane
Ward 124: Vadugu Edyar Street, Rama Thottam Pillayar Koil Thottam, Natu Subbarayar Street, Nattu Muthu Kumarappan Street, Kutchery Road
Ward 125: Rosary Church Road, Bazaar Road, Devadi Street, Paripurna Vinayagar Koil Street, Pidariyar Koil Street, Kutchery Lane, Prof. Sanjeevi Street
Ward 126:Vedachalam Garden, Andimaniya Thottam, 13th Trust Cross Street
