Abby’s, the quick eats joint at C.P. Ramaswamy Road in Alwarpet has opened for business.
The store that sells a range of sliders (parathas stuffed with fillings made using traditional recipes) and rolls started in early January this year.
Says Abhyuday Purkayastha, owner of the shop, “We have deployed multiple hand sanitisers at our kitchen to prevent the virus spread. ”
“In addition, the temperatures of our staff are checked regularly. They also use sanitisers at frequent intervals. All our utensils, provisions, veggies, switches, door handles and card machines are cleaned thoroughly.”
Now, to promote their business, the shop has also introduced a range of new snacks and combo packs.
The combo pack which includes a roll, slider, wafer and drink is offered at a discounted rate. The owner also posts fun contests on their Instagram page and provides a 50 % discount to the first three winners of the contest.
Abhyuday also plans to introduce a variety of popsicles in flavours of watermelon, mango and strawberry by June 8.
The shop offers free home delivery within 6 km radius of Mylapore. Door deliveries also available via Swiggy, Zomato, Dunzo. For details call 48633322.
