D. Kaveri, the executive officer of Sri Kapali Temple, Mylapore says the thirukalyanam at the temple, which will be held tomorrow (June 5) evening from 8 to 9.30 p.m., will not be as grand as the one that is generally held during the annual brahmotsavam in the Thamizh month of Panguni.
She says, “The thirukalyanam will be done on a smaller scale, there will be no ula purappadu (procession of the deities). The event will be webcast live on the temple’s YouTube channel.”
