Virus cases have been steadily increasing at the congested colonies in the neighbourhood.
On June 9, a Chennai Corporation official attached to ward 124 confirmed that over 49 cases have been reported at PNK Garden, a colony located opposite Kalvi Varu Street in Mylapore.
In mid-May, this colony had reported 13 cases. Since then, this official says cases have steadily increased and now it’s over 49.
