To mark World Environment Day, Alwarpet based Citizen consumer and civic action group (CAG), environment support group (ESG) and movement for advancing understanding on sustainability and mutuality(MAUSAM) will be conducting the national consultation on draft environment impact assessment notification meet with focus on environmental protection and environmental justice today(June 5) from 3 to 6 p.m.
There will be debates and discussions on critical issues and concerns relating to the environment. There will be talks by noted persons and environmentalists including Jairam Ramesh, Rajya Sabha MP, Indian National Congress, Dr. Sharachchandra Lele, ATREE, Leo Saldanha of ESG and Alok Shukla of Chhattisgarh Bachao Andolan.
