Fire broke out in Picnic Plaza, a shopping complex at Luz Circle this evening. Electric short circuit was said to be the cause of the fire.
Two fire engines rushed to the place and tackled the accident; smoke kept emanating from the complex which is diagonally opposite the Thirumailai MRTS station main gate.
Nobody was injured, say witnesses here.
