Resident of Nattu Veerachi Street contracts virus

A resident of Nattu Veerachi Street, off Nachiappan Street in Mylapore has contracted the virus and has been taken to hospital. This street runs alongside the periphery of Sri Madhava Perumal Temple campus.

Entry to the pathway to this resident’s house was barricaded this morning.

Mylapore Times was alerted to the development by a resident nearby but the information was wrong – it said that a staff at the local private clinic tested positive and sanitisation work was on. Later, this contact said he was not sure of details.

Mylaporeans who report cases must do so only after verifying the details and relaying on facts before posting on social media or sharing with the media.

The facts of the case were known only after Mylapore Times staff visited the area and took pictures and spoke to residents here.
