In accordance with the prime minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to residents to light lamps and express solidarity with the fight against the coronavirus, the residents of Rani Meyammai Towers at MRC Nagar got together to switch off the lights at their homes at 9 p.m. today night and light lamps for nine minutes.
While a few residents were seen decorating their balconies and porticos with lamps and candles, several others were seen holding up their mobile flashlights.
