If public art can communicate the dangers of corona virus and educate people then bring it out on the main roads.
This is what police groups at the Mylapore and at Teynampet stations decided was worth doing.
They engaged professional artists from Villivakkam for a whole-day job on TTK Road near the Samco restaurant junction.
The police barricaded much of the road and allowed the artists to paint visuals and messages on it. Today, these colourful visuals tell pedestrians and motorists at this still-busy junction what they need to do to keep the virus away.
