Soon after the annual Mahasivaratri celebrations at Sri Kapali Temple in Mylapore get over later this week, temple managers will start rolling preparations for the annual Panguni festival, the temple’s biggest event in its annual calendar.
The first of the events is the reading of the lagna patrikai, a formal and religious event that sets the tone for the celebration.
This event is scheduled for March 4, at about 5 p.m.
