Rangam Balaji, daughter of K. Parasaran, former solicitor general of India, was the chief guest at Mylapore Club’s ‘Club Day’ event held during the second week of February.
Drawing, painting, carnatic music and several other competitions were held for children. Sports events and a cooking competition for men (judged by women) was also held.Later prizes were distributed to the winners. Around 500 members took part in this event which ended with a sumptuous dinner.
