Six students from Lady Sivaswami Girls School, Mylapore won medals at various sports meets held in the country recently.
At the SGFI Nationals held at Andhra Pradesh, M. Swetha (seen in the picture on the right) won the gold medal at ball badminton and S. Shaintavi won the silver medal at volleyball.
At the SGFI Nationals held at Punjab and Dharmapuri, T. Sathya (seen in the picture on the left) and M. Malai Selvi of class XII won the gold and silver medal in pole vault and volleyball respectively.
S. Monika Sri was awarded the bronze medal in shotput at the National south zone meet at Andhra Pradesh and J. Raveena received a bronze medal in basketball at the junior National event held in Bihar.
