For the senior and junior classes at Chettinad Vidyashram, R. A. Puram, their annual day celebration held recently at the school campus was an event they had been looking forward for quite some time.
While the students of the primary section entertained the audience with contemporary dances and classic English plays, the senior students put up a semi-classical dance on Dr. Ilayaraja and a captivating Hindi dance on unique achievers.
The guests were V. Nandakumar, additional commissioner of Income Tax, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Government of India and M. S. Srinivasan, former secretary to Govt. of India, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, New Delhi. They distributed prizes to young achievers.
