To help people rediscover indigenous rice varieties of India, Spirit of Earth, an initiative of AIM for Seva has specially curated ‘Heritage Rice of India subscription box’.
Packed in tins, each box contains 500 gms of an artisanal heritage rice variety, a short note on the heritage rice, a recipe card and a small keepsake. People may also use it as a gifting option.
The recipe curated by their in-house chefs features Indian and International dishes, sweets, savouries, and bakes.
Rice varieties in the box will include sukhdas (Uttar Pradesh), Kalajeera or baby basmati (Orissa), Kala Bhat (west Bengal), red hued Thavalai Kanna Matta (Kerala) and Kuzhiyadichan (Tamil Nadu).
