S. Iswaran, minister for communications and information and minister in charge of trade relations, Government of Singapore, is the chief guest at the 93rd annual conference and concerts event organised by Music Academy, Alwarpet from Dec. 15 to Jan 1. Vocalist Dr. S. Sowmya will preside over the morning conference sessions which will be held from Dec. 16 to Jan. 1 in the morning, 8 a.m. onwards.
Suresh Krishna, chairman, Sundram Fasteners Ltd will preside over the Sadas on Jan. 1. Several noted artistes including Trichur Brothers, Dr. Pantula Rama, Bombay Jayashri Ramnath, Sanjay Subrahmanyan, Neyveli Santanagopalan and Aruna Sairam will be performing at this festival. Season ticket sales will begin on Dec. 2 at 9 a.m. At T. T. K. Road, Alwarpet.
