The Vincent de Paul Society unit of Our Lady of Guidance Church in R. A. Puram held their Christmas celebration on Saturday, December 14 in the church campus hall.
Economically poor adults and children from such families were invited to this event.
Students of St. Lazarus School and of Fatima School performed on stage, singing carols and dancing to a few numbers.
Clothes and cakes were distributed to some 180 poor people (including children and adults). Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Y.F. Bosco led the celebration with a prayer and then distributed the clothes and cakes.
Vincent de Paul members primarily collect donations and use them to provide food, clothing and medicines to the poor.
