Education Week, a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, states Aparna Chandrashekaran, Adviser-EducationUSA in her email.
The event offers city school and college students an opportunity to directly interact with U.S. university alumni and ask them questions about the alumnus’s academic and cultural experiences in the U.S.; campus life, financial aid opportunities for international students, etc.
Aparna says this interaction will help increase student’s awareness about U.S. higher education and it will help inform the U.S. university application process for prospective students.
There is no fee or charges to attend this event. All are welcome.
School and college students planning to pursue higher education in the United States will find this meet useful, adds the e-mail.
