Chettinad Players, the theatre group of Chettinad Vidyashram, R. A. Puram, are back with yet another production this year. Titled ‘Dronacharya’, the group’s 15th production will depict the life of the guru who was instrumental in training Arjuna and who demanded the right thumb of Ekalavya as his guru dakshina.
The play will have sets by noted art director Thota Tharani and Thota Rohini. S. Amudha Lakshmi, the principal of the school, is the creative head for this play. The play will be staged at the school campus on Nov. 20. At 6 p.m.
