At the CBSE South Zone-I Swimming Championship held at Mettupalayam from Oct. 6-9, students from two local schools received medals.
One student, Deepavarshini Sridhar of Class XII, from P. S. Senior Secondary School, Mylapore received four prizes. She will represent the school in the nationals which will be held at Madhya Pradesh in November.
The team from Chettinad Vidyashram, R. A. Puram (seen in the picture) bagged several individual medals, relay team medals and the overall swimming championship too.
