The compost is made by mixing dried and cleaned slurry from their biogas plant with flowers and bilva leaves which is used for their daily rituals. This process is handled by Exnora Green Temple.
In 2017, two biogas plants were installed at the temple’s premises. Cowdung generated by the cows in the temple’s goshala is used to produce gas. The gas so produced is used to cook food for their annadanam scheme.
More than 500 bags of the compost are now available at Rs. 25 per bag.
