The valedictory function of Gandhi 150, a celebration organised by Alwarpet based Gandhi Peace Foundation, will be held at Rosary Matriculation School, San Thome on Oct. 5. A skit and poster making competition will be announced. An all religions prayer for peace will be held, representatives from seven religions will participate.
The event is being organised by thirty student volunteers who have been working with the conservancy workers for a while now. They will be honouring 150 workers by contributing Rs. 2000 each. In addition to that, 100 teachers and inter religious friends who have been associated with the foundation for five decades will be given mementoes.
