Five stories written by the late writer Sujatha ( seen in a file photo) will be presented as Thamizh plays at Narada Gana Sabha in Alwarpet on Sept.27 evening.
These are dramatised for the stage by members of the Komal Theatre group and the plays are directed by Dharini Komal.
Dharini says that her theatre group decided to focus on one writer every season and currently, the focus is on Sujatha who has written short stories, fiction, essays, writing for cinema and on technology.
There will be an audio-visual presentation ion Sujatha at 6.45 p.m. and the plays roll from 7 p.m.
The event is presented by three sabhas and open to all.
