Ashvita’s is inaugurating today its permanent exhibition space in Mylapore at the very place where it used to have its art gallery.
The Savage Nobles is an exhibition of paintings and sculptures by India’s leading and globally recognized contemporary artists. Curated by Peter Nagy, the show presents a rare opportunity to Chennai’s art enthusiasts to view artworks by contemporary practitioners who are seldom exhibited in the city, says a note from the gallery.
Subodh Gupta and Jitish Kallat are among the artists whose works are on display.
