Thotta utsavam at Sri Adi Kesava Perumal Temple, Mylapore will be held on June 16 and 30 this year. On both the days, Perumal and his consorts Bhoodevi and Sridevi and Chakratalvar will be taken on a procession around the city. The procession will make stops en route at the homes of the devotees where an archanai will be performed.
On June 16, the procession will start at 1 a.m. and will cover Teynampet, T. Nagar, Nungambakkam, Saidapet and other areas before coming back to the temple in the evening.
On June 30, the procession will cover R. A. Puram, Mandaveli and Alwarpet before stopping at Ethiraja Kalyana Mandapam at noon. A thirumanjanam will be held for the deity there. In the evening, the deity will visit devotees at Poes Garden, C. I. T. Nagar, Sullivan Gardens and Mylapore before coming back to the temple.
On July 21, Vana Bhojanam will be held for the deity. The deities will be taken to Sri Vanamamalai Mutt at Triplicane. A thirumanjanam will be held there and the deities will be brought back to the temple in the evening.
