Recently, Aavin decided to collect the used milk sachets to avoid its plastic milk covers from going to the dump yard. Now, the Aavin parlor at C.P.Ramaswamy Road, Alwarpet has a couple of bins outside its shop for the collection of the same.
“Before dropping the packets people should make sure they are clean and dry. They would get 10 paise for a milk packet,” says T. Agila, Deputy Manager of Mylapore zonal office.
People can collect the corresponding amount from Agila. She sits in the Mylapore zonal office on the first floor of the Aavin parlor on this road.
