Chennayil Chidambaram dance festival organised by Sruthilaya Fine Arts will be inaugurated at R. K. Swamy Hall, Sundareswarar Street, Mylapore today (April 12). Sruthilaya School of Music will be celebrating their annual day too. The chief guest is vocalist O. S. Arun. Music teacher Meenakshi Srinivasan will be honoured.
The dance festival will be on till April 14 at the same venue. Bharatanatyam recitals will be given by the students of several gurus including Kanchana Janardhanan, Bhavani, M. Swaminathan and Maya Shyam Sunder. 6 p.m. onwards.
