Kauvery Hospital at Alwarpet is planning to introduce music therapy to treat people with dementia. A special support group meeting for people with dementia and their caretakers will be held at a music therapy workshop in the hospital premises on Feb 27, 10 a.m.
The session also includes games that stimulate the mind and activities like group singing, drumming and chanting or relaxation exercises.
