To mark the completion of their 25th year of Thiruppavai classes, Mylapore based Dwarakamai Educational Service Centre run by Kalyani Muralidharan, organised a trip to the Sri Andal Temple at Srivilliputtur.
More than 15 students performed a dance at the temple, parents sang pasurams from the Thiruppavai. Says Kalyani “We wanted to do something different to mark our anniversary and so drew up the plans for this trin August. The students and parents have been practising since September”.
