Andhra Mahila Sabha’s very own foot embroidery artist K. Narasimhalu was recently presented with a set of 35 coats and anchor stitch kits to meet his needs for the next twelve months.
Narasimhalu, an orphan who has celebral palsy, uses his feet to do embroidery work and paint. He is being supported by The HeArt Beat Foundation, a trust that promotes specially abled artists.
The kits were presented to him by P. T. Vinod, branch head, Coats India, Chennai. Also present at the event were the trustees of Andhra Mahila Sabha, Kalpana Sabhanayagam and Madhumathi Achuthan and the founder trustee of HeART Beat Foundation V. S. Ramana.
