A Heritage walk in San Thome was held on Christmas eve, December 24 to give people a feel of the festival and listen to stories of the past.
Led by writer-historian Nivedita Louis, the Walk began at the St Thomas Cathedral and had stops at various points on and off this road, as the group of some 50 people walked south, mostly looking at churches, listening to history of the local area and taking in the lights, decorations and sights all over.
The Walk, which began at 7.3 0 p.m. ended with carols at the house of Vimala Padmaraj in Leith Castle Street where people got a feel of a Christmas house.
