The trustees of Sri Velleeswarar Temple at South Mada Street, Mylapore and members of Mylapore Sengunthar Mahasabhai and Mylai Sri Kapali Ayappa Bhakthargal Annadanam Sabhai recently donated goods worth Rs. 2.5 lakhs to the people affected by cyclone Gaja.
A truck loaded with sarees, dhotis, lungis, candles, biscuits and clothes was sent to help the people in the Pudukottai region. The materials will be distributed through the home guards there.
