The annual brahmotsavam at Sri Ayyappan Temple, R. A. Puram will be held from Dec 22 to 27 this year. The flag will be hosted on Dec 22 at 6 p.m. Daily events include a ganapathy homam, an usha poojai, 18th step poojai and pushpabhishekam. A 1008 kalasa abhishekam will be held on Dec 23. The deity will be taken in a procession on a silver chariot on Dec 26 evening. The flag will be lowered on Dec 27.
