The students of San Thome School, San Thome won laurels for their school in two events.
At the 61st State Level Republic Day sports meet organised by Cuddalore district and held at Neyveli from Nov 10 to 12, Prathiksha Yamuna. A of class VIII won the gold and silver medal in the 80 metres hurdles and long jump events respectively. The bronze medal in the hurdles and high jump events was won by Rathesha. S.
Prathiksha also won the gold medal at the long jump event organised by Reliance Foundation Youth Sports Athletics National Championship at Mumbai from Nov 14 to 17. She was also declared as the best sports person in the sub-junior girls category with 890 points.
