At the Padmabhushan Lady Andal U-11 interschool super knockout cricket tournament held in the city during the last week of August, the team from Vidya Mandir, Mylapore beat P. S. Senior Secondary School, Mylapore to lift the winners trophy.
The boys, who won by 11 runs, scored 93/2 in this 15 over tournament. The player of the match was Bhargav Sai, a class V student at Vidya Mandir.
Students from seven city schools participated in this event.
