Children’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Chennai Middle School, N. S. Garden, Park View Street, R. A. Puram on November 14.
The headmistress of the school, A. Sasikala addressed the gathering and welcomed the guests.
The guests for the occasion were D .Vinoth Kumar, secretary of Bharath Youth Association, V. Prabhu, founder president of Bharath Youth Association, M. Jawahar, joint director of
industrial safety and health, Tamilnadu and Kasturi Eswaran, of the NGO, Asha for Education.
A few school children spoke and performed, bringing smiles to the audience. It was a
platform for children to showcase their talents.
Sweets, writing pads, slates, steel plates and books were distributed as gifts to the children.
There was also a interactive story-telling session organised by the Rotary Club of Chennai Silk City.
