A lecture will be organised by Vidiyal Charitable Trust and The Dawn Cultural and Social Association to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The event will be held on Oct 27 at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore.
S. Jagadeesan, retired judge, Madras High Court will preside over the event. He will distribute cash awards to the winners of the inter collegiate oratorical competition held earlier. Bhajans on Mahatma Gandhi and Bharatiyar songs will be presented by Jawahar on the bulbul tarang.
