Mylapore Arts Academy’s 23rd music festival was inaugurated on Oct 21 by Dr. Nalli Kuppuswami Chetti. A memento was presented to carnatic vocalist Abhishek Raghuram by S. Jagadeesan, retired judge, Madras High Court and president of the Academy.
Also present were T. Natarajan, vice president, Carlisle Brakes and Friction, A. Chandrasekaran and V. Balachandran, the vice presidents of the academy and secretary N. Ethirajan.
The festival is on till Oct 28 at P. S. School, Mylapore.
