On Sep 18, the members of the Mylai Vattara Vanigar Sangam donated a RO water purifier to the Chennai High School at Sringeri Mutt Road, R. A. Puram.
The principal of the school, J. Dhanammal says, “The water purifier costs Rs. 17000 and will be very useful to the young boys and girls who study there. The members of the sangam, who have been providing snacks for class X students in the evening for four years, have also promised a gold coin to the top three scorers in the class X exams this year”.
