Swami Somanandaji Maharaj, the senior most sadhu in the Ramakrishna Order passed away at 3.45 p.m today afternoon. He was the disciple of Virajanandaji Maharaj and was intiated in 1948.
According to a press release from the temple, devotees and visitors can offer their pranams till 12 a.m. today night and from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m tomorrow morning at the Old temple at Sri Ramakrishna Math, Mylapore.
The cremation will be held at 12.30 p.m. tomorrow at Kailasapuram crematorium.
