The 1968 batch of San Thome Higher Secondary School in San Thome are meeting up on August 1, calling it the ‘golden jubilee’ alumni meet though none of them have met at any formal meets before of this kind.
The alumni and their families will have lunch at a private club and then, at 2 p.m. be present at a formal event at the school’s auditorium where the group’s reps will formally sponsor the education of a group of economically weak students here and also a donation to set up a modern gymnasium.
The school community will attend this function.
