The annual inter-school double wicket tournament conducted by Vidya Mandir Alumni Association will be held on June 30 and July 1 at the Marina Grounds. 12 schools will take part in this event.
D. Girish, former Ranji player from Tamilnadu will inaugurate the tournament on June 30. S. Sharath, former south zone and Tamilnadu Ranji Player will give away the prizes on July 1.
This annual event is held in memory of N. Gautam, a talented cricketer and an alumni of the school (1984 batch), who succumbed to cancer in 2002. Vidya Mandir has been conducting this tournament since 2003.
