Rotary Club of Madras East and Rotary Club of Irvine, CA recently donated Computer integrated manufacturing equipment to Ramakrishna Mission Students’ Home, Mylapore for use by the polytechnic students.The CIM Centre of Excellence inaugurated on April 18 will house CNC lathe, CNC mill, gantry loading and unloading, automatic storage and retrieval system and other equipment. 15 computers with offline software for simulations have also been supplied.
The total cost of the project was Rs. 71 lakh.
