PMG(Mayurapriya creations)”s ‘Dharmaspathri’ depicts the present day scenario in the Health sector, especially in the medical treatment field.
Many of us do discuss on the current developments/ problems that keep haunting us in our every day life but murmur privately; Mayurapriya Creations has gone an extra mile to stage a play on the latest issue that evokes a deep societal concern and projects the modus operandi of handling such situations.
Mayurapriya Creations has dared to take up the hot subject ‘Medical Negligence and hospital atrocities’ in their 6th venture Dharmaspathri with a huge band of actors chatterising patients and the medical professionals . Each and every character (not less than 20 in number! Excluding those hands which have a very decisive role behind the screen) in the play have displayed their talent in a befitting manner within the limited period of a stage play.
The role of CEO is aptly picked by Sri Ganapathy with his gigantic figure and the audience really got stunned by his very qiuck Namaskaram on stage in no time!
Script for characters Giriprasad and Music Therapist have been written in a high profile manner and the actors have engrossed themselves with their roles.
The Dharma and Kailash characters clearly project how family relations enter in public life and promote self interest vis a vis social cause and interest of the Nation.
The play was thoroughlly enjoyed by learned audience filled in the hall who were very eager to greet the actors in person after the play and show their joy over the play.
A special word of appreciation to Perambur Kumar for his very detailed stage planing and Sri Guhaprasad for excellent music!
It goes without saying that Shri P Muthukkumaran keeps elevating himself on much higher position year by year with his matured script writing and advanced levels of direction and acting. Every minute details like display of Mission Statement, punching of attendance, etc. have been beautifully organised; and the huge band of characters very well managed.
Dharmaspathri is sure to win as many awards as it had bagged for its previous play Vivahamalai.com.
