Sri Thiagaraja Sangeetha Vidwath Samajam will be celebrating Sri Thiagaraja Jayanthi from April 23 to 27 at its premises at Thiagarajapuram, Mylapore.
The event will be inaugurated on April 23. The chief guest T. S. Krishnamurthy, former chief election commissioner, will confer the title of ‘Sangeetha Seva Nirata’ on several vocalists and instrumentalists. A music concert by Dr. S. Sundar and group will follow.
