To mark violinist V. V. Ravi’s service to the field of carnatic music, VVS Foundation and the disciples of V. V. Ravi will be organising an event ’51 years of musical journey’ on Feb 11 at T. N. Rajarathinam Kalai Arangam, R. A. Puram.
Dr. T. V. Gopalakrishnan will preside over the function. The chief guest is N. Murali, president, The Music Academy. The guest of honour is V. V. Sundaram. A concert by V. V. Ravi will follow. At 6 p.m.
