The garden music series by Sunaada Lahari, the musical wing of Indira Ranganathan Trust, was inaugurated on Dec 31. Vocalist Shankari Ramasubramanyan performed at the recently renovated garden amphi-theatre in the evening.
The trust, formed by Indira Ranganathan in memory of her late husband T. Ranganathan, serves as a platform for young artistes to showcase their talents. The margazhi utsav will go on till Jan 10.
