The eight day bus strike ended on Thursday night much to the relief of commuters. Students,
office-goers and seniors were most affected, especially during peak hours.
In our neighbourhood, buses were seen plying on arterial roads including San Thome High Road, R.H. Road and R. K. Math Road.
With pongal around the corner, residents who had travel plans were particularly relieved.
